private apartment | b01

< 2018

the apartment is located in a small building - former 18th century toll booth just outside the spanish walls near porta volta - inside a "ringhiera" house built afterwards during the city expansion beyond the walls in the second half of the 19th century. based on several levels, the apartment overlooks the internal courtyard and a small private patio. the interior design plays on the contrast between the original structure and the solutions relating to the finishes - wooden and concrete floors, carpeting for the attic area, old terracotta revitalized with a colored resin, walls covered in fabric to also hide full-height wardrobes, colors - and the selection of furnishings ranging from vintage pieces to custom-made elements.
