country house in the hills and vineyards of the gavi. the building, the result of a series of buildings subsequent to the original body, without stylistic continuity and coherence, is spread over three floors and an attic. the recovery operation started with the elimination of superficial additions by cleaning and uniforming the overall. the common entrance leads to the main area and, through a staircase, to the second unit. the ground floor is entirely used as the main living area. barrel vaults in restored exposed brick, flooring with oak recovery boards for the different rooms and luserna stone for corridors, connections and kitchen with fireplaces for each room characterize this floor. a single staircase in luserna stone connects the three floors. on the upper levels there are the bedrooms, with bathrooms and wardrobe rooms in cypress wood, the billiard room and the master sleeping area with en suite bathroom, study and wardrobe plus three guest rooms. in the attic the large open space is used as a game room and it includes a service area. the basement is divided into two areas: a wine cellar with cobblestone floors, cross vaults with exposed brick and a tailor made wine teak "library" and a wellness area. relax area with a hammam, a shower with chromotherapy dressing room and service connected through an underground corridor to the indoor pool in spluga green stone, characterized by a fully glazed side that follows the slope of the external ground opening the view on the lake, the greenery and the outdoor swimming pool.
the second unit is spread over 2 levels: kitchen with pantry and services and 6 m high open space intended for the living room overlooked by a mezzanine bed with bathroom and walk-in closet.
